Hey there -
First of all, I want to be perfectly honest. I am terrified of McCain. I do support Ron Paul mainly because of his views on protecting our rights, but I think Romney would have done that as well. He seemed to have views that were conservative, not all of which I agree with, but I don't agree with 100% of what my candidate has to say either. I am tired of this war though. I just want our troops home with their families. Unending wars will never solve anything. I would be flipping out if it was my hubby over there, so I can't imagine what the families of our troops are going through. The main thing is I just want to live my life in peace, with my family and friends, and want the government off our backs. We will never get protection from them, and they will only gain more and more control of our lives. I think we are going to be in awful trouble as Americans with McCain. The Republican Party is committing political suicide to Hillary if he becomes the nominee. I think all the win/lose rally stuff can be fun if it were a football game, but with McCain or Hillary..I think if they win..we ALL lose. I honestly think this win/lose, rep/dem, red/blue, us/them is designed to divide and weaken us. In the end, when all is said and done, we all need each other to fix this mess. I am sure our kids will either blame or thank us for the world we leave them. I know how much effort, energy, and love you put into supporting your candidate. We have been pouring it into ours, too. We really need to band together just as people, now. The media seems to think they can report what they want and call it "news". I really fear for this Country going further down the tubes or worse if either McCain or Hillary get into office. I was just wondering if you guys have any suggestions. The TV sure is not going to be any help. I am sorry to invade your board, but I am just not sleeping well lately with thoughts of possible outcomes of this election. Thoughts? |
